About Air Canada
Like most North American airlines Air Canada has a history that goes back nearly to the time of the first flights by Orville and Wilbur Wright. 1937 was first established as part of the Canadian National Railway (apparently a group that understands the value of rapid transportation) out of a desire to connect the Pacific and Atlantic cities of Canada. Flights first began in September of that same year, though the first flight was unambitious, flying from Vancouver to Seattle, both on the Pacific coast. After this first successful trip they began to get more ambitious, flying passengers from Vancouver to Montreal in April of 1939.
Air Canada has served Canada for over 80 years and now offers transportation all over the world at reasonable rates. Thousands of customers fly with Air Canada to all points, which also serves as one of the primary air cargo transporters in the Nation.
