About JPay

JPay was established by Ryan Shapiro in 2002, though he stepped down in 2016 to be replaced by Errol Feldman as CEO.  This company has focused on providing multiple services for the inmate population of federal correctional facilities, expanding their offerings as technology advanced to include their custom JP3 with purchasable music for their library of tracks.  In 2012 they made a tablet available that would allow inmates to play games, write and read emails, and enjoy their musical collection, as well as videos and photos they can send to their loved ones.
