About Great America

Great America is a 100-acre park in Santa Clara, California. It is currently owned by Cedar Fair and opened in 1976. It boasts over 40 rides and attractions.

Initially built by the Mariott corporation, they opened a second park near Chicago. This park is now owned by the Six Flag’s corporation and is called Six Flags Great America.

The park features nine roller coasters and is divided into different locations. The locations are County Fair, Celebration Plaza, Action Zoe, All American Corners, Orleans Place, and Planet Snoopy.

The most notable attraction at Great America is the Gold Striker. This rollercoaster has been ranked as the top wooden roller coaster in the country by Amusement Today.

Customers can purchase individual tickets or season passes. Parking is not included in the ticket price.
