Lyft is the main competitor of ride-sharing behemoth and undisputed leader – Uber. If you might think of if you want to dump Uber for various reasons – Lyft is a great place to go to.
Nevertheless, they seem to have the same issues you hear about Uber, but, customers say their services are better compared to some of the companies available. If you are thinking of joining Lyft, then here are the customer service numbers that will guarantee responses for your concerns every time.
CRITICAL SITUATIONS: Unlike UBER, Lyft actually has live and working phone number for customers to get help – but this number is for Critical Response ONLY (such as accident, etc)! – to call Lyft’s Critical Response line, dial 855-865-9553
Do I use Lyft or Uber? Well – I use neither π because I have a car an live in the sticks, and it takes 30-40 minutes (on average) for me to get either service to come pick me up, as there are very few drivers around. However if I go to Boston without my car, I always prefer Lyft for ETHICAL reasons. Here is why:
Uber is openly telling its drivers (people who earn 100% of the money for the company) that they (drivers) are expendable. UBER plans to replace human drivers with self-driving cars as soon as those become commercially available, street legal and financially affordable.
Basically Uber has put a time limit on 100s of thousands of its drivers. They estimate to start using self-driving cars by as early as 2020. So the human capital of Uber will have jobs for another 3-5 years, after which they will need to find something else to to to earn the living and provide for their families.
Therefore I boycott this company (Uber) to protest the treatment of their main workforce and primary income earners.
So do I support Lyft? Well, yes – kind of. My father does not drive, so I installed Lyft app on his phone and was teaching him how to use it. He is using it to visit his girlfriend who lives 2 miles away (my dad can’t walk that far because of arthritis).
However, while I’ve not heard Lyft publicly announce that they plan to use self driving cars, I am 100% certain they do have such plans, because frankly speaking – it makes sense. No strikes, no rapes, no background checks, no unions… self driving cars will just do what they are designed for – drive.
So I am not against progress. I just believe that Uber is spitting in their driver’s faces by telling them – you only have 3-5 years to do this, after which Teslas will replace you.
Lyft Email
Contacting Lyft via email might not be the fastest way to get a response, but, you could give it a try. The contact email available is support@ lyft.com. Another best way to contact Lyft besides email is using the support center. Here, you get to ask questions and provide your email address where you will receive the response. This might be an option, but you will have to wait for days to get your response.
Lyft Help Center
The help center is one of the best options to use to contact Lyft. Whether you are a passenger, driver or a new applicant, you get issues solved when you use the help center. The process is pretty simple; identify if you are a new applicant, a driver or a passenger and ask your question. You will get some suggestions that might be helpful. If the suggested answers do not offer a solution to your question, you have the option of sending a message, and you will get a response from Lyft. Go to Lyft help center and find this help.Lyft.com. Lyft Phone Numbers
Contacting Lyft via phone is always the fastest and most appropriate. The problem is timing your call since you wonβt be able to find a support team every time you call. In general, this is the best phone number to use if you want help, but it may be flooded with calls, as applicants, passengers and drivers use the same number. So, you might think of the number of people who call every day! Nevertheless, you can use it to your advantage. Here is the number 855-865-9553.
