About Reserve America
Established in 1984 as a company devoted to developing software for the recreation industry that would streamline the making of reservations, Reserve America first produced this form of software for the Federal and State park systems. In 1997 their software was responsible for processing the first reservation made online. From that point, forward Reserve America has been responsible for providing services for National park Service reservations.
Their work was so successful that 2005 saw the United States Forest Service commission them again to develop a system that would serve as a central source for reservations and recreational information. This commission was worth a total of $97 million and has grown to handle all the information for 100,000 recreational destinations in a centralized format.
