HECO Customer Service Number
One of the most important reasons for calling HECO is to report a power outage in your area. Of course, these numbers are answered or monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For Oahu call 855-304-1212. To report a power outage in Maui, call 808-871-7777. For Lanai call 877-871-8461, and for the Hawaii Island call 808-969-6666. Another option if you have lost power is to report the outage online.

There are other HECO customer service call centers. These phones are answered from Monday through Friday. For Hawaiian Electric in Oahu, call 808-548-7311 from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
For Maui Electric in Maui, call 808-871-9777. For Maui Electric in Molokai and Lanai call 877-871-8461. Both numbers are answered from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For Hawaii Electric Light in Hilo call 808-969-6999. The number for Hawaii Electric Light in Kona is 808-239-3584. And finally, to contact Hawaii Electric Light in Waimea, call 808-885-4605. All these numbers are answered from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
HECO Email/Contact Form
HECO does not have a specific email address customers use to address issues or ask questions. Instead, fill out a contact form. Customers can send general questions via this platform or specific questions about customer grid-supply or customer self-supply, billing, or customers can give notice that they need to close an account.
