NOVEC Customer Service Number

Call either 703-335-0500 or 888-335-0500. After you call, you will be asked to verify the account’s phone number and address.

Do you prefer to text? Text #OUT to 85700 or text STATUS to receive outage updates. This texting service only works if your account profile is current.

The Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative was formed in 1939 to provide electricity in rural areas of Virginia. Combining the Tri-County Electric Cooperative and the Prince William Electric Cooperative formed the company. They were consolidated in 1983.

Currently, the company covers a 651 square mile territory in Fairfax, Fauquier, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford and Clarke counties and the city of Manassas Park.
