About PSEG
In 1985 the PSEG (Public Service Enterprise Group) came into existence to take responsibility for the Public Service Electric and Gas Company, colloquially known as PSE&G. As the company continued to develop, it started taking a very forward view of renewable energy sources, equipping 200,000 utility poles with solar panels in 2009. This project helped to boost the available renewable energy in New Jersey and took a total of 4 years to complete. This was just the start of their investments in renewable energy, as four more farms were built in other communities.
