North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is an organization that develops and maintains the North Texas toll roadways, tunnels, and bridges. The company operates, constructs, repairs, and maintains turnpike projects and collects tolls to pay for these projects. NTTA manages the following tollways: Sam Rayburn Tollway, Dallas North Tollway, Chisholm Trail Parkway, and President George Bush Turnpike. It also manages the following bridges and tunnels: Addison Airport Toll Tunnel, Mountain Creek Lake Bridge, and Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge.
NTTA, previously Texas Turnpike Authority, was established in 1997 when the former was abolished by legislation. The organization uses the electronic toll collection system called TollTag to collect its tolls.
