About CHAMPVA
CHAMPVA stands for the Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs. CHAMPVA is a medical program that gives federal benefits for veterans, dependents, and survivors. The comprehensive VH health care program shares the cost of covered health care services and supplies with eligible beneficiaries. The program is based in Denver, Colorado and is administered by the Veterans Health Administration Office of Community Care. CHAMPA covers most health care that is medically and psychologically needed. Pharmacy benefits such as Meds by Mail is also included for medication delivery to the home. A guide is offered to those who are eligible for full benefits.
